As far as bathing suit trends and fashion go, it looks like retro suits are back from the 60’s. Remember, those high wasted bikinis that we all saw in the popular movie, “Beach Blanket Bingo” with Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicelli?
While I think retro fashion is pretty cool, these are about as attractive? as the high wasted jeans that tried to make an impact on fashion again just a few short years ago. Remember that photograph with Jessica Simpson wearing them and getting tons of flack from online gossip sites?
In my opinion the high wasted bikinis will not hang around for long.
A better fashion trend that we are seeing are the color block swimwear. Bathing suits with blocks of color on the top and another color on the bottom promises to become a popular trend for the summer of 2013.
