Josie Duggar Turns One

Little Josie Duggar, the 19^th baby for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, was born premature a year ago and survived against all odds. The miracle baby weighed just one pound and six ounces, yet one year later little Josie is a whopping 16 pounds. This little beauty left the hospital on April 6^th of this year, only to turn around and be back two days later. Josie Duggar left the hospital for good in June of 2010. She celebrated her first birthday on December 10^th.

Josie is doing very well developmentally although she still needs oxygen while sleeping. “She’s so strong,” shares Michelle, adding, “She’s saying da-da. She has an iron grip. She’s a funky little fighter; she had to be to stay with us this long. I thank God; we are so grateful.”

The Duggars of ?19 Kids & Counting? say they are not opposed to having more children. Their faith is strong and they believe that children are a gift from God, no matter how many.

“I would love more and we’re hoping we’re not finished,” says Michelle.
